How effectively does the trailer use cinematography? Think about AMPS.
They used a variety of different angles and you could clearly tell there was a lot of effort put into this trailer. you could also tell that there was a lot of footage and filming done with the use of tilts. A variety of angles and shots being used. At the beginning I think it was very clever how the group showed the girl in the past being small and then a shot of her growing up.
What can you say about the mise-en-scene? How closely has miss-en-scene been considered in the trailer?
There was a lot of costume changes in this oriental trailer we could see the traditional japanese clothing.I close clearly tell that the men in the suits were japanese mafia due to typical stereotypical japanese movies. I also think it was effective with the makeup used the oriental tattoo on the girls back because it complemented the music in the background and set the scene at the very beginning.
What can you say about the editing and sound of the trailer?
The sound in this trailer correlated with the movement with the shots of china town it sets a cultural context. The fast pace beat at the end created a intensity in the atmosphere and makes you want to find out more.

Task 1
WHAT WAS THE LAST FILM YOU SAW AT THE CINEMA
The last film I saw in cinema was Fast and furious 7 which was a tribute to Paul Walkers passing.
How did you hear about it? What marketing techniques did you see/read/hear?
Heard about it on social media sites, television advert, bus stop posters. I saw the trailer on youtube as it showed me a preview of the film which gave me a insight of what the film will feature.
Did you watch the trailer and how effective was it?
A trailer or preview is an advertisement or a commercial for a feature film that will be exhibited in the future at a cinema. I watched the trailer on the internet and found that it was very effective because it was a build up to excitement. From the beginning the trailer was very unique showing cars jumping out of a plane which was instantly eye catching. Another part of the trailer which was shown in slow motion was very effective when Paul Walker was running on the bus which added a lot more excitement. As the trailer went on it showed a clip of the previous scene which demonstrates how the sequels of films link. Using different scenes and environments the trailer showed most of the action that takes place in the movie which constantly makes you want to watch it more and the more you watch the trailer the more you feel like you want to watch the film.
How often do you go to the cinema in a year?
I go to the cinema at least twice a year due to movies being released after a month online I would watch it online after watching the trailer.
